ABOUT US
We met in college. One of the biggest things that attracted us to each other was our love of sports and our love of teaching. Both of us have our BS in Education (Go Knights!) and have a combined 8 years of teaching under our belts.
We ended up buying our friend’s boat after we moved to the Harris Chain in Lake County, Florida. Then, we started bringing our friends on that boat. We ended up teaching them how to wakeboard and wakesurf on that boat. We even got married on that boat. Then... we sold that boat.
They say the best day of a man’s life is the day you buy a boat and the day you sell that boat... our 3 days of tears said otherwise. After a few months of searching hard, heartbreaks, and exhaustion, Nate was finally able to find us the boat of our dreams. We cannot wait to share the happiness that we get to experience every weekend with you on the Harris Chain of Lakes.

I was born and raised in Bradenton, FL, about 30 minutes away from the beach.
When I was about 16 years old, my friends brought me on their boat and I was introduced to wakeboarding and knee boarding. I absolutely loved it! My family didn’t have a boat but I didn’t let that stop me. My friends and I got the bright idea to hook up their knee board to the back of their 4 wheeler and try to ride in a retention pond. Surprisingly, it worked! I do not recommend, though.
Fast forward to 24 years old. Nate’s friend got a wakeboat and I discovered wakesurfing.

Rex’s Story:
Hello, my name is Rex. I am a German Shepherd mix. I get to go on boat rides every weekend! On the boat, I get a little nervous when my parents are practicing wake surfing and wake boarding. I stare the whole time and bark when one of them falls. They say I should get paid for being the best spotter dog.
Jack's Story:
Hi, my name is Jack. I am some kind of hound dog and I am really weird. I love going on boat rides. If you even say the word “boat” I will jump 6 feet in the air! My favorite thing to do on the boat is stick my nose in the air and sniff.

Growing up on the water in southwest Michigan, I was very fortunate to be exposed to the lake life. Every possible opportunity my friends and I had to be on the water, we took it. We would leave school and head straight to the water to jump on the wakeboard and wouldn't stop until sunset.
15 years later, I am still doing the same thing; finding any way possible to be on the water
